In-Home, Contract, and Virtual services available
$125/Session

At Songbird Services you can expect quality music therapy services from a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with a passion for sharing music with the world and connecting with others through music. Individual, family, and group sessions are available in addition to educational opportunities.

I specialize in music therapy for adolescents and adults with anxiety and depression, as well as eating disorders. However, I do have experience with younger children and families; all are welcome.

I do not bill insurance directly, but you are welcome to check with your insurance to see if they provide any coverage for Music Therapy Services.

  • In music therapy, music is used to achieve non-musical goals

This may include music to treat anxiety, depression, daily cognitive functioning, and more.

  • What kind of clinical training do you need to be a music therapist?

The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) requires music therapists to complete 1200 hours of clinical training in addition to music therapy education. I am trained in talk therapy techniques, but will primarily use music to express emotions during our sessions.
